A Time for Killing is a Civil War western about Confederate soldiers who escape from a prison and go on a wild violent adventure. It is also Harrison Ford’s first credited role in a movie. The young Ford was only 25 in this movie and he plays the role of Lt. Shaffer. It is usually pretty hard to track down a movie this old, but now it is on Amazon Video on Demand.
